The film has earned its place as an Official Selection (2025) at both NFDC Cinemas of India and the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), reaffirming its cinematic strength and emotional depth.

Currently, Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur, Chairman & Managing Director of Gradiente Infotainment Ltd., is actively promoting the film at the prestigious WAVES Film Bazaar by Netflix, one of the biggest film industry events in Goa. Abhaya — penned and directed by Yusuf Surti — brings forth a compelling narrative of bravery, compassion, and the triumph of the human spirit. The film is presented by Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur, whose creative vision continues to support meaningful cinema.

The film’s lead actress, Yogita Bhosale, expressed her joy and gratitude upon the film's selection at the 56th International Film Festival of India (NFDC), calling it “a dream come true and a defining moment” in her career. The selection has amplified the film’s buzz across both Marathi and national cinema circles.

Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur is a visionary leader, creative entrepreneur, and strategic media architect with over three decades of excellence in the entertainment and communications industry. As the Chairman and Managing Director of Gradiente Infotainment Ltd, he has transformed the company into a diversified multimedia powerhouse.

A postgraduate in Mass Communication from Osmania University, Dr. Mathur’s professional journey began with international exposure at Grant Kenyon & Eckhaedt (GKE), where he developed deep expertise in global branding and integrated media solutions.

Before founding Gradiente Infotainment, Dr. Mathur established himself as a creative strategist in the advertising world. He played an instrumental role in launching numerous brand campaigns across sectors including FMCG, lifestyle, technology, and public service.

Today, Gradiente Infotainment Ltd operates across verticals including film and series production, original digital content, music distribution via Gradiente Music, and a dedicated OTT platform – Gradiente Stream – offering over 200 hours of curated content.
